Search for opportunities by typing one or more keywords into the search box on the Join the American Climate Corps page. Keywords could include terms like wildfire, energy efficiency, conservation, or water.

Use filters to narrow your search results

Once you have a set of search results, apply filters to get results that meet your criteria. Filters are the drop-down menus below the search box. You can filter your results by:

• Location: This is where the role is located. Use this filter to select a specific location.
• Work environment: This is the type of physical environment where the work will be done. Options include rural, urban, indoor, outdoor, and more.
• Focus area: Use this filter to select what you’re interested in. You can choose things like environmental justice, biodiversity protection and restoration, community gardens, wildfire prevention, and more.

Sort your results

You can sort your search results by:

• Soonest application deadline
• Latest application deadline
• Soonest start date
• Latest start date

Understanding your search results

Each search result includes the following information:

• Title: The title of the opportunity.
• Location: Where the opportunity is located.
• Term length: The start date and end date of the opportunity.
• Apply by: The application deadline.
• Learn more and apply: This link will take you to the full opportunity listing. From there, you can learn more and find out how to apply. You’ll apply for opportunities directly through the ACC partner’s website. Each opportunity listing will include an application link.
