Project summary
Develop partnerships and programs to build watershed awareness and stewardship. Plan and conduct stewardship events such as stream cleanups, tree plantings, and invasive vegetation removal. recruiting volunteers, event planning and coordination.
Opportunity description
Assist staff in implementing a variety of hikes, bicycle tours, fishing activities, boating activities.Manage outreach program registration prior to and during events. Assist with coordination, preparation, and planning of the installation of green infrastructure, including rain gardens, bioswales, tree plantings and other activities

Requirements and qualifications
Requirements
Must have GED or high school diploma; be 18 or older by October 8, 2024. Must successfully pass a National Service Criminal History Check (NSCHC). Must be a U.S citizen, national or lawful permanent resident.
Preferred qualifications
Possess a valid driver's license. Have an interest in the environmental field such as, stormwater managment, climate impacts, or urban forestry. Demonstrate maturity and cultural competency. Self-motivated and able to work on a team.
