Project summary
Engage Americans of all ages in addressing issues related to water resources through management, stewardship, and restoration activities that may include visual stream assessments, delivering education and outreach programming, public involvement, and many others.
Opportunity description
Develop presentations, workshops and outreach materials. Lead classroom lessons and activities surrounding water quality. Promote stormwater-related awareness through social media. Assist with the planning of a variety of environmental education events. Manage volunteers in environmental conservation activities. Coordinate the Town’s Outdoor Classroom and Water Quality Demonstration Space. Conduct visual assessments of Town waterways.

Requirements and qualifications
Requirements
Willing to work weekends and extended hours, on occasion.
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geography, biology, natural resource management or related field.
