Project summary
Engage Americans of all ages in addressing issues related to transportation through education and outreach, community engagement, and marketing.
Opportunity description
Be involved with all aspects of Bike Walk Knoxville’s work, including education, programming and events, and initiatives in partnership with government and other non-profit organizations. Work with young people by assisting with Knox County Safe Routes to School programming as well as Kids Love Bikes classes, which teach bike handling, maintenance, and safety. Be involved in event planning for the annual events of Open Streets Knoxville and Tour de Lights.

Requirements and qualifications
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, prior experience with youth education and nonprofits. Ride a bike well enough to assist with teaching bike safety and skills. Ability to work independently. Proficiency with Google Suite.
Preferred qualifications
Basic grant writing and budget skills.
