Project summary

This project will develop a comprehensive Green Energy Workforce Training and Placement Program focusing on solar, wind, and natural gas industries. The VISTA member will be instrumental in creating training coursework, conducting user acceptance testing, and establishing partnerships with local companies to facilitate apprenticeships and employment opportunities..

Opportunity description

This position will collaborate with industry experts to develop specialized training modules for solar, wind, and natural gas jobs. In addition, VISTA member will conduct user acceptance testing to evaluate the traiing program, collect feedback from participants and stakeholders, identify and establish partnerships, and monitor and evaluate the progress of the training program and its participants.

Strong interest in renewable energy and sustainability; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Experience in curriculum development, training, or education is preferred; Willingness to engage with diverse communities and build relationships with industry partners.
