Project summary
This is a leadership position for a conservation corps crew. Leaders will provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to participants completing natural resource and conservation projects. This position will also train participants in environmental stewardship practices, general worksite safety, Leave No Trace principles, and outdoor living skills.
Opportunity description
This position provides individuals opportunities to strengthen communities and preserve our natural resources. Participants serve as part of a team and work, serve, and camp in the field at the location of the project(s). Supervision is provided by professional crew leaders. Crews generally spend 8 days in the field followed by 6 days off. The schedule may vary depending on the project need. There are 2 opportunities under this announcement.

Requirements and qualifications
Requirements
Age between the ages of 18 and 30 w/maximum 35 for Veterans with DD-214. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Agree to be substance free.
Preferred qualifications
Interest in stewardship. Ability to work well with others. Other qualifications as outlined in detailed announcement.
