Project summary
The member supports the Bureau of Land Management by collecting data, observing the soil, and examining the diverse vegetation using the Assessment, Inventory, and Monitoring (AIM) methodology. Crews contribute to a massive, publicly available dataset that is used by land managers and in academia to inform and assess land management decisions.
Opportunity description
This position provides individuals with service and career opportunities to strengthen communities and preserve our natural resources. Participants serve locally with a partner agency completing identified in the project description. Participants receive daily supervision from a local mentor who works with the partner agency and overall support from Conservation Legacy staff. Service is generally 8-5 Monday – Friday but may vary. There are 6 opportunities under this announcement.

Requirements and qualifications
Requirements
Age between the ages of 18 and 30 w/maximum 35 for Veterans with DD-214. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Agree to be substance free. Valid Driver's License.
Preferred qualifications
Interest in stewardship. Ability to work well with others. Other qualifications as outlined in detailed announcement.
