Project summary

Corps Members will engage young Americans in outreach and education around pollinators and invasive species in the state to encourage community members to become better stewards of the land. 

Opportunity description

Corps Members will create educational and outreach materials for apiary, organics, and Cooperative Agricultural Pests Survey (CAPS) programs, distribute educational and outreach materials to the public and stakeholders, create and conduct client survey for Organics program, collect and utilize crop and acreage statistics, and assist with Organics data transfer project.

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements

High school diploma. Valid driver's license. writing and record keeping skills. public speaking and communication skills. basic computer software knowledge (design and editing). data collection and interpretation skills.

Preferred qualifications

Knowledge or willingness to learn about invasive species, honeybees, and organics in Montana.
